We set up Poulet Bonne Femme, Ireland’s first Rotisserie chicken business, in 2009, after being inspired by chicken we enjoyed that was cooked on a spit whilst on holiday in Spain.
We believe in the power of good, honest food. What started as a humble vision to bring the authentic flavors of French rotisserie chicken to Ireland has blossomed into something much bigger—an artisanal food experience where quality, sustainability, and taste come together in every bite.
Our name, Poulet Bonne Femme, means “chicken good woman,” a nod to a classic French chicken dish and home-cooked traditions where meals were made with love and care. Today, that’s exactly what we aim to deliver: good food crafted with care, and sourced from trusted Irish farmers who raise their free-range chickens and turkeys ethically and sustainably.
